Job summary

St. John’s United is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care in a nursing facility. Under the supervision of the onsite nurse, you will administer medications, assist with daily activities, and help ensure a safe and compassionate environment for Elders.

Qualifications

• Requires Montana CNA license and CPR certification.
• Must have 2 years (4160 hours) experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Must pass the Montana Board of Nursing certification exam with 85% proficiency.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications per MD orders and records accurately.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding).
• Records vital signs and reports changes to the nurse in charge.
• Responds promptly to resident call lights and checks residents unable to call for help.
• Assists with transfers, positioning, turning, and transportation in beds, chairs, or lifts.
• Maintains resident care records and follows confidentiality policies.
