Job summary

St. John's Lutheran Ministries, Inc. DBA St. John's United in Montana seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct care in assisted living, in accordance with resident care plans.

Under supervision, you will assist with activities of daily living, vital signs, mobility, hygiene, and communication with residents, families, and the nursing staff; you must obtain Montana CNA certification within 120 days if not already.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Montana State Nurses Aide Certification or completion of SJU CNA course and certification within 120 days of class completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents under supervision.
• Assist with showers and activities of daily living as per resident care plan.
• Assist with oral hygiene and denture care.
• Assist with dressing, grooming, hair care, nail care.
• Manage incontinence and assist with mobility and transfers.
• Take and record vital signs; report changes to supervisor.
• Provide post-mortem care as instructed.
• Maintain infection control and safety policies.
