Job summary

St. John's United is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care in our Skilled Nursing department. Under general supervision, you will assist with activities of daily living and deliver quality health care assistance to residents in a Montana facility.

Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support, with emphasis on safety, dignity, and teamwork with nursing staff. Must obtain Montana CNA certification within 120 days if not already certified.

Qualifications

• Must have Montana State CNA certification or have completed the SJU CNA course and obtain certification within 120 days of class completion.
• Experience in human services or health care setting preferred.
• Ability to lift and manuever heavy objects; good physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dental and mouth care, dressing, and nail care as directed.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and mobility using lifts or support devices.
• Assist with dining, food service, and feeding as needed; monitor intake and hydration.
