Job summary

The candidate should have 6+ years of actuarial experience, ASA or FSA, advanced Excel, SQL and SAS, plus a track record of building actuarial tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years actuarial experience required.
• Fellow or Associate of the SOA; AA membership preferred.
• Strong technical skills: Excel, SQL, SAS.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Medicare strategic initiatives and planning.
• Own tools/processes for internal users' needs.
• Train and develop direct report(s) in technical skills and Medicare program knowledge.
• Apply mathematics, probability, statistics and finance to calculate outcomes.
• Develop capitation or premium rate analyses with/state/federal agencies.
• Oversee health plan experience, identify trends, and suggest improvements.
• Research and analyze legislative impact on business.
