Job summary

Centene Corp. is seeking a Senior Actuary for a fully remote role across Eastern and Central time zones.

You will conduct analysis, pricing, and risk assessment to estimate financial outcomes, supporting the Risk Adjustment team through data analytics, risk modeling, and complex data validation initiatives. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of actuarial experience with ASA or 5+ years with FSA, plus MAAA membership; healthcare actuarial experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• 7+ years actuarial experience with ASA or 5+ years with FSA.
• MAAA membership required.
• Healthcare actuarial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run and analyze market-level results using risk adjustment models.
• Act as the team contact for an assigned set of markets.
• Apply math, probability, statistics and finance to calculate financial outcomes.
• Develop probability tables from statistical data.
• Determine equitable distribution of insurance benefits.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies.
