Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Sr. Medical Writer (Publications) to lead and deliver high‑quality medical writing across studies, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

You will manage diverse documents, coordinate with data management, statistics, and medical affairs, and mentor junior writers. The role requires expert knowledge of industry guidelines, strong writing and editing skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects within budget and timeline constraints.

Qualifications

• Leads the clear and accurate completion of medical writing deliverables with minimal supervision.
• Coordinates quality and editorial reviews and mentors less experienced writers.

Responsibilities

• Leads medical writing deliverables for studies, coordinating across departments.
• Prepares documents including protocols, reports, narratives, summaries, SPAs, and manuscripts.
• Ensures compliance with ICH E3 guidelines and SOPs; manages client comments and reviews.
• Mentors and leads junior writers on complex projects; contributes to internal materials and process improvements.
