Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• 5-7 years underwriting experience in self-funded or conversions.
• Strong analytical, math and negotiation skills.
• Ability to use computer systems and tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of renewals and new business at profitable levels.
• Calculate rates and apply pricing policies.
• Identify questionable claim patterns and develop recommendations.
• Apply risk management policies to pricing.
• Ensure client enrollment complies with policies and criteria.
• Adapt pricing for client-specific situations.
• Support fraud detection, compliance, wellness, and product development.
• Lead and mentor lower level analysts.
