LILT is seeking senior linguists with Life Sciences translation expertise to support our Medical Talent Community. This role emphasizes regulatory review and high-stakes medical/regulatory content translated for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or biotechnology, within GxP and ISO 17100 standards.

As a 1099 contractor based in the United States, you can set your own schedule, work on diverse projects from anywhere, and receive prompt payment for quality work while expanding your portfolio.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in the target language(s).
• Based in the United States of America.
• Graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR
• Graduate qualification in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR
• 5 years of full-time professional translation experience.
• Ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely.
• Professional experience in translation and localization within Medical/Life Sciences domains.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Review: Adapting and validating target text to meet compliance standards.
• Life Sciences Expertise: Translate for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or biotechnology.
• SOPs: Work within strict GxP environments and ISO 17100 quality standards.
