Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia seeks a Medical Technologist III to provide technical and regulatory oversight of laboratory sections and to perform the duties of a Medical Technologist II. The role requires a qualifying degree or MT certification and color-acuity screening, plus two years of clinical laboratory experience.

Candidates must meet certification requirements (ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS) and demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology and eligibility for certification.
• Associates degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology and MT certification.
• Military program graduate with MT certification.
• Grandfathered MT with MT certification accepted.

Responsibilities

• Oversees one or more laboratory sections and regulatory compliance.
• Performs the duties of a Medical Technologist II.
