Roxborough Memorial Hospital, a part of Prime Healthcare, seeks an experienced Laboratory Supervisor to oversee routine and complex testing across multiple sections, ensuring accuracy and compliance with CLIA and accreditation standards.

You will lead staff, supervise performance improvement initiatives, and collaborate with medical staff to maintain high-quality laboratory services for the Roxborough community.

Competenze

• ASCP certification, or equivalent, preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, physical, biological health science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited program.
• Minimum five years of hospital laboratory work experience required.
• Current and valid State License if the laboratory is located in a state where required.

Mansioni

• Oversee daily operation of the laboratory sections (Hem hematology, Blood Bank, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Microbiology, Immunology).
• Serve as Technical Consultant to medical staff and supervise staff performance evaluations.
• Ensure accuracy of patient results prior to reporting and maintain QC/QA documentation.
• Develop and update department policies and procedures; monitor compliance with CLIA and accreditation standards.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives and coordinate with hospital leadership on quality metrics.
