Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related lab science.
• MT(ASCP) or CLS eligibility (not required).
• 2 years hospital laboratory experience preferred.
• Commitment to Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising assigned staff and ensure high standard of work.
• Organize and prepare specimens for analysis; perform routine analyses and report results timely.
• Report critical values according to patient age and policies.
• Participate in quality improvement, quality control, instrument and inventory maintenance and safety.
• May supervise the laboratory on rotating weekends/holidays and participate in committee meetings.
