Job summary

Thisiscny in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Medical Technologist 3 with Flow Cytometry expertise. The role requires NYS license/registration or limited permit and at least 2 years of clinical lab experience. Strong computer skills and color differentiation ability are essential.

Preference given to candidates with Flow Cytometry experience and willingness to teach Medical Technology students and residents. Work days are Mon-Fri with rotating on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• NYS license/registration or limited permit to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
• 2 years clinical lab experience required.
• BS degree in Natural Sciences may be considered for a restricted license with a 1 year training in Flow Cytometry.
• Excellent computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lymphocyte subset analysis, stem cell analysis and leukemia/lymphoma analysis in flow cytometry laboratory.
• Maintenance and quality control.
• Perform new test development.
• Teach Medical Technology students, CP residents and fellows.
