Job summary

BGBx is seeking a Senior Medical Director to lead Medical Strategy & Scientific Affairs, directing high-quality medical content and ensuring scientific integrity across programs. You will work with clients and internal teams to shape strategy, manage timelines, and oversee a team including Associate Medical Directors, Medical Writers, and Medical Interns.

The role offers remote work within the United States and is based in the NYC metropolitan area.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in biomedical sciences (PhD, PharmD, or MD) required for the role.
• Strong scientific knowledge and ability to summarize complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and hands-on creation of medical and scientific content across therapeutic areas.
• Lead development of medical advertising and communication projects, ensuring scientific accuracy and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with clients to align promotional materials with project goals; manage timelines and budgets.
• Supervise and mentor Associate Medical Directors, Medical Writers, and Medical Interns; coordinate cross-functional teams.

Education
