Job summary

BD is seeking a Statistician/Biostatistician to support product development, clinical studies, and business decision-making in a regulated healthcare environment. The role involves designing studies, creating analysis plans, and delivering high-quality statistical analyses using R and SAS.

Qualifications

Master's or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related quantitative field.
3+ years of experience in regulated healthcare, life sciences, or medical device environments.
Proficiency in programming, documenting, and validating statistical analyses using R and/or SAS.
Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of reproducible research, regulatory requirements, and quality or process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Design, plan, analyze, and interpret studies and experiments supporting product development and business decisions.
Develop statistical analysis plans and ensure quality of analyses.
Program, document, validate, and maintain statistical code in R and/or SAS for data management, analysis, visualization, and reporting.
Prepare technical reports and contribute to scientific publications, conference presentations, and external communications.
Present findings to cross-functional stakeholders and influence decision-making across product lines.
