Job summary

BD is seeking a Statistician/Biostatistician to support product development, clinical studies, and business decisions in a regulated healthcare environment. You will partner with cross-functional teams to design studies, develop SAPs, analyze complex data, and communicate insights using R or SAS.

The role requires a Master's (or PhD preferred) in statistics, 3+ years in a regulated setting, and the ability to program, validate, and present statistical results to varied audiences.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in regulated healthcare, life sciences, or medical device.
• Experience applying statistical methods to product development and clinical research.
• Proficiency in programming, documenting, and validating analyses in R and/or SAS.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Experience with technical report writing and presenting findings.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, analyze, and interpret studies that support product development and business decisions.
• Develop and review study protocols, CRFs, and other regulatory documentation.
• Independently develop and maintain statistical analysis plans.
• Program, document, validate, and maintain statistical code in R and/or SAS.
• Apply appropriate statistical methodologies to address analytical challenges.
• Prepare clear, concise, and scientifically rigorous statistical reports.
• Present findings to cross-functional stakeholders and contribute to publications when appropriate.
• Stay current with emerging methodologies and evolving regulatory requirements.
