Job summary

Ipas is seeking a Senior Medical Scientist to advance safe abortion, contraception, and GBV care quality through clinical expertise and strategic partnerships. The role involves global leadership, evidence dissemination, and external representation to advance Ipas's mission.

The position requires a deep commitment to SRHR, English fluency, and 10+ years of clinical practice with experience in international programs. Remote work is possible from multiple US states and international locations.

Qualifications

Deep commitment to SRHR including abortion and contraception care.
Professional fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
10+ years of clinical practice in reproductive health.
Experience evaluating quality in clinical care and applying it to programs.
Experience with international SRHR programs in low-resource or humanitarian settings.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership to advance safe abortion and contraception care.
Disseminate evidence through publications and presentations; conduct trainings.
Lead technical guidance on quality and regulatory processes for Ipas MVA and related care.
Support training of Ipas sites and partners on content such as VCAT and trauma-informed care.
Lead or participate in clinical/technical research and dissemination of best practices.
