Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. seeks an experienced Medical Science Liaison (Sr Manager) to lead clinical and health economic conversations in CNS across the ecosystem.

You will partner with KIs, LPLs, clinicians and patient groups to translate evidence into real-world patient outcomes while aligning with regional medical strategies. The role requires field-based engagement, strong presentation skills, and ability to navigate regulatory and commercialization interfaces to advance Otsuka

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences or Master’s degree with equivalent psychiatry or CNS clinical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant work experience.
• Strong business acumen; knows the industry, business model and value proposition, competitors, and market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Key Influencers, Local Practice Leaders, healthcare providers, and patient groups within the CNS ecosystem.
• Contribute to regional business strategy and medical education needs; cover multiple products within CNS.
• Provide evidence-based clinical, economic and humanistic information to support decision making.
• Collaborate with ecosystem partners to execute field activities and optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain external relationships with scientific/medical stakeholders and contribute to trials and real-world evidence generation.
