Job summary

WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital is seeking an experienced Radiation Oncology Physicist to provide treatment planning, dose calculations and comprehensive clinical physics support for all therapies offered by the department.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Medical Physics or related field, 5 years of full-time clinical experience, and Board Certification upon hire. Expertise with Varian TrueBeam, Eclipse, Aria, and RadFormation is preferred.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Radiation Physics, Medical Physics, Bio-Physics or related specialty — required.
5 years of full-time clinical experience in radiation oncology physics — required.
Board Certified in Therapeutic Medical Physics upon hire — required.

Responsibilities

Performs external beam radiotherapy treatment planning and dose calculations using TPS and manual methods.
Provides clinical physics services and participates in brachytherapy, SRS and related therapies as offered by the department.
Assists and advises in simulation and treatment processes and ensures QA support and data integrity.
