Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG is seeking a Senior Medical Physicist to provide scientific leadership in quantitative SPECT/SPECT-CT imaging and to drive the development and validation of advanced imaging workflows across Molecular Imaging platforms.

You will collaborate with clinical, product, software, regulatory, and R&D teams to translate clinical needs into innovative solutions, optimize image quality, and contribute to clinical studies and publications.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in Medical Physics or related field.
• Experience leading quantitative imaging projects.
• Strong collaboration with clinical and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific leadership in quantitative SPECT and SPECT/CT imaging, reconstruction methodologies, and image quality optimization.
• Support development, validation, and clinical implementation of quantitative imaging workflows across Molecular Imaging platforms.
• Evaluate and optimize clinical task-based image formation methods.
• Design, execute, and interpret phantom studies to assess quantitative accuracy and system performance.
• Perform quantitative imaging analyses, calibration methodologies, SUV measurements, and activity concentration assessments.
• Apply dosimetry methodologies to support theranostic treatment planning and imaging initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate clinical needs into product solutions.
• Support image quality assessments, performance evaluations, and validation activities in line with standards.
• Provide scientific consultation to customers and internal stakeholders on advanced SPECT and dosimetry workflows.
• Support clinical research initiatives and evidence-generation activities.
