Job summary

Spectrum Dynamics Medical seeks a Regional Medical Physicist to support nuclear imaging solutions across a defined region. The role combines hands-on clinical collaboration with medical physics expertise and direct interaction with research partners and sites.

Travel up to 40% is required; strong communication and independent work in clinical environments are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Medical Physics, Applied Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of SPECT/CT systems, image reconstruction principles, and quantitative imaging.
Demonstrated experience with clinical or translational research.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in clinical environments.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site and remote advanced medical physics support, including protocol optimization and troubleshooting.
Lead or support acceptance testing of newly installed systems, and ensure compliance with regulatory/clinical standards.
Collaborate with regional clinical partners on ongoing and new clinical research, data collection, study execution, and technical documentation.
Speak at regional or national events on behalf of Spectrum Dynamics and present at customer sales events as needed.
Deliver training, workshops, and technical presentations to clinicians, technologists, and doctors.
