Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney to join our Birmingham, Alabama office. The attorney will manage a complex caseload from intake through trial, contributing to a well-established practice group.

The ideal candidate has a JD from an accredited law school, is admitted to the AL State Bar, and brings 5+ years of personal injury litigation, ideally in medical negligence, with superb writing and oral advocacy skills.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Active AL State Bar membership in good standing.
• 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience, ideally in medical negligence/malpractice.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution, including trial.
• Draft and file litigation documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interact with expert witnesses, including drafting reports and affidavits.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
