Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Attorney to join our Medical Malpractice department in Birmingham, AL. The Attorney will handle a heavy and complex caseload from pre-litigation through trial, contributing to an established practice group and top producing team.

The role emphasizes expert-witness coordination, vigorous advocacy, and client-focused service in a leading consumer rights firm with a strong national presence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience, ideally involving medical negligence/malpractice, catastrophic injury, and/or nursing home matters.
• Active AL State Bar membership in good standing.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution, including trial.
• Draft and file litigation documents: pleadings, discovery, motions, and memoranda.
• Guide clients through the case process and coordinate with expert witnesses.
• Prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings and trials.
