Desert View Hospital in a rural community is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform laboratory analysis and report results according to protocol. The role serves as a resource for Medical Laboratory Technicians and Lab Assistants, and supports the Lead Medical Technologist.

Qualified candidates will hold a B.S. in Medical Technology (ASCP) or CLIA-equivalent, have Nevada licensure or provisional license, and a current BLS certification. Prior experience is preferred.

Formación

• Education: B.S. Degree in Medical Technology (ASCP) or equivalent as defined by CLIA’88.
• Experience: 3 years experience as Medical Technologist preferred.
• License/Certification: Nevada State License as Clinical Laboratory Technologist; ASCP or equivalent board registration required upon hire; BLS from AHA required.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze laboratory specimens and report results per protocol.
• Serve as resource for Medical Laboratory Technicians and Lab Assistants.
• Assist Lead Medical Technologist as needed.
