Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a capable Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform and report laboratory analyses from multiple specimen sources, troubleshoot instruments, and assist with new testing methods in a clinical laboratory setting.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field (Medical Technology preferred), MLS program completion, and 4+ years MLS experience with strong technical and quality assurance skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; preferred in Medical Technology.
• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Science program or equivalent experience.
• ASCP or NAACLS certification preferred.
• Minimum of four years’ MLS experience.
• Strong technical expertise, troubleshooting abilities, and knowledge of laboratory instrumentation.
• Ability to interpret complex testing and participate in quality assurance activities.
• Excellent communication, training, and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report laboratory analyses accurately.
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
• Assist in evaluating new products and implementing new testing procedures.
• Participate in quality control, proficiency testing, and competency assessments.
• Contribute to procedure manual updates and staff training.
• Support inventory and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies and safety standards.
