Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology, medical laboratory science, clinical laboratory science, or chemical/physical/biological science.
• Experience: 4 years in clinical lab under a qualified Director; one year in appropriate section preferred.
• Licensure/certifications: current state license; ASCP/AMT/AAB certification as MLS/MT; Maintenance Program if certified after 2004.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical competency in section.
• Perform routine and special lab procedures.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and performance improvement.
• Assist and consult with laboratory supervisor/director.
• Maintain competency and meet goals and objectives.
• Adapt to patient population and privacy standards.
