Qualifications

• Associate degree or MLT certificate required.
• Current Clinical Lab Scientist Generalist license or eligibility within 180 days (if applicable).
• ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification as Medical Lab Technician must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs specimen testing as part of the laboratory workflow.
• Ensures quality performance and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• Calibrates, maintains and monitors laboratory equipment.
• Maintains competency and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs phlebotomy as appropriate and supports troubleshooting when needed.
