Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Medical Instrumentation Field Service Technician responsible for corrective repairs, preventive maintenance, acceptance testing, and calibrations.

You will install standard and non-standard medical instrumentation, document activities in the maintenance system, and collaborate with care teams to ensure device readiness and reliability across facilities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or vocational certificate in Electronic Service or related field.
• 3+ years in medical technology field service with medical devices and systems, or 4+ years in a related field.
• Competency in documentation and preventive maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Build effective relationships and provide resources and expertise to coworkers and members.
• Autonomously complete work using up-to-date subject area expertise; follow procedures and policies.
• Maintain documentation in the maintenance management system and manage inventory for parts and tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on standard and non-standard medical equipment and software.
