Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience servicing medical imaging equipment and Radiology Equipment Specialist Certificate - CRES (AAMI) or minimum eight (8) years servicing medical imaging equipment.
• AAS degree in biomedical equipment service technology or military biomedical equipment training or electronic systems support.

Responsibilities

• Advise on specifications for purchases on new medical imaging equipment and recommend replacements or obsolescence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare for installation and deployment of imaging equipment and systems, including electrical, mechanical, gas, pneumatics, software, networking and data retention integration.
• Perform or coordinate preventive maintenance and safety inspections, and document work in the maintenance system.
