Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a skilled Imaging Equipment Engineer to perform and manage maintenance across our imaging systems. You will install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and support X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and other modalities, ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Lead, train, and collaborate with OEMs and service providers; coordinate with the Imaging Engineering Manager to prioritize and schedule preventive maintenance and upgrades across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; strong imaging equipment knowledge.
• 8+ years in medical imaging service; OEM/provider experience preferred.
• Leadership and mentoring of technical staff.
• Strong background in computer networking, digital imaging, PACS integration, microprocessor-based tech.
• Ability to coordinate with OEMs and vendors; on-call for emergencies.
• Knowledge of FDA, OSHA, JCAHO, NIOSH regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize work with the Manager of Imaging Engineering.
• Perform preventive maintenance on imaging equipment across OhioHealth facilities.
• Oversee maintenance of imaging equipment in clinical areas.
• Conduct safety tests and calibration verification.
• Provide training to imaging equipment users on safe use of equipment.
• Maintain documentation and inventory records.
