This is a second-shift position with a Monday to Saturday work week

HudMed is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Medical Facilities Technician to join our team. This isn't just a hands-on role; it's a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the deep cleaning and disinfection of medical facilities and equipment throughout the tri-state area, with additional out-of-state travel. If you have a meticulous approach, proven leadership skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is your opportunity to fast-track your career into management.

This second-shift position requires flexibility and a commitment to providing exceptional service. You'll be instrumental in ensuring our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Detailed Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Disinfection Leadership:

Lead and guide a team in performing thorough deep cleaning and disinfection of medical facilities, including operating rooms, procedure rooms, patient rooms, and common areas.

Oversee the deep cleaning and disinfection of medical equipment, including surgical tables, sterilizers, and other specialized equipment.

Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and cleaning agents by the team.

Conduct quality checks on cleaning and disinfection activities to maintain HudMed's high standards.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of all cleaning and disinfection activities, including team assignments and progress.

Team Leadership & Development:

Provide on-the-job training and guidance to junior technicians.

Motivate and manage team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Problem-solve and address on-site challenges effectively and independently.

Communicate clearly and effectively with team members, management, and facility staff.

Requirements:

Experience:

Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably within a cleaning, maintenance, or medical setting.

Demonstrated ability to train and supervise a team.

Skills:

Exceptional cleaning and disinfection skills with a meticulous eye for detail.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.

Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.

Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required.

Availability: Must be available to work second shift and travel out of state frequently. Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
