Job summary

Lincare in the San Diego area is seeking a field service technician to handle equipment setups, concentrators and other durable medical equipment in homes, clinics, and facilities. You will train patients on safe use and perform daily oxygen deliveries, with attention to timeliness and safety.

You’ll conduct routine maintenance, assist with minor repairs, keep the vehicle and center storage organized, and participate in on-call rotations evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Requires the ability to set up equipment and instruct patients on safe use.
• Performs oxygen deliveries and routine equipment checks.
• Executes minor repairs and arranges shipment for major repairs.
• Maintains vehicle and storage area in good order.
• Follows FDA, OSHA, DOT, and safety policies per manuals.
• Occasional on-call work evenings and weekends per center schedule.
• May supervise other service representatives and oversee warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete orientation checklists for new equipment and patient setup.
• Deliver oxygen cylinders and concentrators on daily routes.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Maintain vehicle and center inventory; manage paperwork.
• Respond to service calls as on-call representative.
• Lead service team and coordinate daily work assignments.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory policies.
