Job summary

Lincare Holdings in Norfolk, NE is seeking a Home Health Equipment Technician to set up concentrators and other durable medical equipment in patients' homes, clinics, and care facilities. You will complete orientation checklists, train patients on safety, and perform routine maintenance.

The role includes daily oxygen deliveries, vehicle upkeep, on-call evenings/weekends, and adherence to FDA/OSHA policies.

Qualifications

One year experience in home health care field as service representative or equivalent position.
Must have a valid driver's license for the appropriate class of vehicle.
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally more than 120 pounds.

Responsibilities

Complete equipment orientation checklists for new equipment and other necessary paperwork.
Instruct patients in the safe and proper use of equipment.
Make oxygen deliveries (cylinder and concentrator) on a daily route and perform equipment checks.
Perform minor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform daily inspections.
Clean rental equipment and maintain warehouse organization.
Follow FDA guidelines for cylinder tracking and oxygen analyzer testing.
Work as on-call service representative evenings and weekends.
May serve as a backup to other employees for vacation or illness.
