Job summary

Meet Life Sciences Ltd. in San Francisco seeks a Medical Director, Clinical Development in Immunology to guide strategy and execution across its immunology portfolio.

You will provide medical oversight of trials, contribute to protocol design and safety reviews, and collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Translational Medicine, Biostatistics, and Clinical Operations to advance programs.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
• Clinical development experience in biotech/pharma.
• Hands-on medical monitoring, including safety assessments.
• Immunology background and/or clinical development in immune-mediated diseases.
• Experience contributing to trial design, execution, and data interpretation.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and drug development processes.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and translate insights into strategy.
• Strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to clinical development strategy and advancement of immunology programs.
• Design, plan, execute, and interpret clinical trials across development stages.
• Perform medical monitoring and provide ongoing medical oversight of trials, including safety data review.
• Evaluate clinical and safety data to identify potential safety signals and inform management and study decisions.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations and Pharmacovigilance to address medical queries and risk management.
• Provide medical input into study protocols, development plans, and related documentation.
• Review and interpret clinical data to inform program strategy and development decisions.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Translational Medicine, Biostatistics, Clinical Operations, and other stakeholders.
• Support preparation and review of study reports, regulatory submissions, presentations, and publications.
• Build and maintain relationships with investigators and external experts.
