Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Medical Director, Pulmonary, to lead the US medical/scientific strategy for Pulmonary products within Immunology Medical Affairs. You will partner with Clinical, Commercial, Regulatory and Market Access to drive evidence generation and medical engagement across the US.

This senior role requires advanced life sciences training, 5+ years in related fields, and a proven ability to develop US medical strategies, manage complex cross-functional programs, and guide field teams

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Clinical Practice, Medical Affairs, or Clinical Development.
• Experience in Pulmonary and/or Immunology is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to develop and execute US medical strategies with Medical Affairs Launch and Life Cycle Management.
• Strong knowledge of the regulatory, payer landscape and clinical trial concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the integrated US medical strategy and tactical plan for Pulmonary products.
• Lead scientific evidence generation and information exchange with key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with field teams, global teams, and cross-functional partners to tailor plans to local needs.
• Provide medical leadership to sales, marketing, regulatory, and risk management.
• Review and approve medical content for promotional and scientific materials in compliance with regulations.
• Oversee clinical studies in adherence to GCP/ICH and company standards.

Education

Advanced degree in life sciences or pharmaceutical sciences (MD/PhD/PharmD/NP/PA)
