Elderhaus, a national Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), seeks a physician leader to serve as Medical Director based in Wilmington, NC, with occasional travel to New Bern. Lead medical services, drive quality, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve participant outcomes and ensure regulatory compliance.

The Medical Director provides clinical leadership, participates in program governance, and maintains a direct clinical role within the primary care team while

Formación

• MD or DO required and board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Current or eligible NC medical licensure and DEA registration
• BLS/CPR certification
• Minimum of two years caring for older adults or frail elders

Responsabilidades

• Provide overall medical direction and oversight for Elderhaus PACE participants.
• Lead clinical quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with primary care providers, nurses, rehabilitation and social work professionals.
• Ensure compliance with PACE, CMS, state and organizational requirements.
• Provide direct clinical care as part of the primary care team.
• Recruit, mentor, and support physicians and APPs.
