Ascendis Pharma is seeking a Medical Director based in the United States to lead late-phase endocrinology trials within a global clinical development team. You will design, monitor, analyze data, and ensure rigorous study conduct across sites, reporting to the VP of Clinical Science.

The role emphasizes scientific leadership, collaboration with cross-functional colleagues, and travel up to 20% for scientific meetings.

Formación

• MD with board certification in endocrinology.
• Completion of ACGME-accredited residency and fellowship.
• Physician licensure in at least one state.
• Minimum 3 years in clinical trial design and execution.
• At least 5 years of industry experience in clinical development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to formulation and implementation of the Clinical Development Plan.
• Lead and monitor clinical trials and ensure site retention.
• Serve as Medical Monitor and oversee safety and efficacy data.
• Provide leadership to medical monitors and study teams.
• Draft and review clinical documents and regulatory submissions.
• Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
