Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or related major (OR) 5+ years of equivalent relevant experience.
4-7 years of hands-on experience in medical systems configuration and administration.
4-7 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting clinical application systems.
4-7 years of work experience with SQL Server relational database systems.
4-7 years of work experience in HL7 interface engines.
Responsibilities
Acts as technical subject matter expert on medical device connectivity.
Responsible for the assessment, design, procurement, installation, monitoring, maintenance of medical devices/systems.
Develops and maintains an up-to-date inventory and technical reference documentation of medical devices/systems.
Oversees and participates in multiple medical device/system projects.
Monitors and adopts the latest best practices for integrated medical devices/systems.
Participates in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to medical device/system end-user issues.
