Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or related major (OR) 5+ years of equivalent relevant experience.
• 4-7 years of hands-on experience in medical systems configuration and administration.
• 4-7 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting clinical application systems.
• 4-7 years of work experience with SQL Server relational database systems.
• 4-7 years of work experience in HL7 interface engines.

Responsibilities

• Acts as technical subject matter expert on medical device connectivity.
• Responsible for the assessment, design, procurement, installation, monitoring, maintenance of medical devices/systems.
• Develops and maintains an up-to-date inventory and technical reference documentation of medical devices/systems.
• Oversees and participates in multiple medical device/system projects.
• Monitors and adopts the latest best practices for integrated medical devices/systems.
• Participates in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to medical device/system end-user issues.
