Job summary

Draeger Medical Systems, Inc. in Andover, MA is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer to join our hybrid office three days a week. You will secure patient monitoring medical device solutions throughout the product lifecycle, collaborating with systems, software, and test engineering teams.

You will drive threat modeling, risk assessments, SBOM management, and regulatory interactions to enhance cyber resilience across products.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of product security in a product development environment.
• Experience with threat modeling, cybersecurity risk assessment, secure design, vulnerability analysis, and security testing.
• Working knowledge of embedded, Linux, Windows, real-time, or network-connected systems and protocols.
• Understanding of secure development lifecycle and security-by-design practices.
• Ability to communicate risks clearly and document traceably in a cross-functional setting.

Responsibilities

• Product Security - implement security requirements across the medical device development lifecycle with cross-functional teams.
• Perform threat modeling, attack-surface analysis, and cybersecurity risk assessments; integrate with safety risk management.
• Support secure device design including secure boot, secure communications, data protection, and update mechanisms.
• Plan and review cybersecurity testing: vulnerability scanning, SCA, fuzzing, pen testing; drive remediation and retesting.
• Maintain product SBOMs; assess vulnerabilities and coordinate disclosure.
• Prepare cybersecurity documentation for FDA and regulatory submissions.
