Job summary

Hologic is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer to drive medical device development from concept to production with strong technical judgment and customer-centric design. You will own subsystems, mentor junior engineers, and present technical decisions to project teams.

The role involves coordinating with suppliers and customers, supporting budgets and schedules, and contributing to risk management and documentation throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical or mechanical engineering with medical device R&D experience.
• 5 years of work experience in health and/or business communities; 1–3 years with a Master’s degree.
• Strong communication, writing, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead small to medium projects and subsystems to meet milestones.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and direct teams on tasks.
• Present technical decisions and manage risk across product lifecycle.
• Support manufacturing transfer and prepare project documentation.
