Job summary

Hologic is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer, Product Engineering, to join our Surgical Division. You will sustain capital and disposable products, improve quality and reliability, and drive design improvements across multiple projects.

Responsibilities include leading HW design efforts, developing test strategies, and collaborating with Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing and suppliers. Requires 5+ years in medical devices with a strong EE background.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years in new product development or medical devices.
• 3+ years with Masters degree in relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing product lifecycle and guard against electrical component EOL.
• Lead troubleshooting on electrical/electro-mechanical field returns; implement design changes.
• Lead HW design for product line extensions, VIPs, or new features.
• Develop electrical test fixtures/prototype boards for testing.
• Support Manufacturing with process and fixture improvements.
