Intellectt Inc is seeking a Sr. Procurement Specialist – Procurement Sourcing Specialist/Analyst in Sylmar, CA. This 100% onsite role focuses on strategic procurement for medical device components, supplier sourcing, data analysis, and contract negotiations.

You will lead cross-functional projects with engineering, quality, and regulatory teams, driving cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier performance improvements. A strong PM and analytics background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, finance, operations management, business administration, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in engineering, technical project management, procurement, supply chain, finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills, including data processing and data visualization.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze and communicate information effectively to executive-level stakeholders.
• Thorough understanding of engineering, procurement, supply chain, and project-related activities and their interfaces and interdependencies.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and meet schedules without direct supervision.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work independently when required.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and adapt to evolving project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple supply chain projects simultaneously, including supplier risk mitigation and supply chain resilience initiatives.
• Analyze supplier quotes, bids, RFQs, and RFPs and recommend options based on total cost.
• Source and evaluate mechanical and electrical suppliers for medical device components.
• Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and vendor onboarding activities.
• Manage procurement requests, purchase orders, and supplier communications.
• Track project milestones, procurement timelines, and cost savings.
• Support tariff mitigation strategies and identify opportunities for second sourcing.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and regulatory teams to support supplier compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of sourcing decisions, contracts, and supplier performance.
• Ensure procurement activities align with medical device industry standards and internal quality systems.
• Define and coordinate project resources across scope, charter, execution, escalation, post-implementation, and closure phases.
• Perform cross-functional risk analyses and develop mitigation strategies to strengthen supply chain resilience.
• Direct project execution by assigning tasks, tracking schedules, identifying risks, and developing contingency plans.
• Support project teams with problem solving, data visualization, and KPI development.
• Prepare project status reports and participate in departmental and customer project status meetings.
• Resolve project issues in collaboration with team members, stakeholders, customers, and other appropriate parties.
• Break down complex projects and issues and present findings in a clear, digestible format to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Interface with senior management on significant matters and coordinate activities across organizational units.
• Establish priorities and independently exercise sound judgment in managing project assignments.
• Perform other supply chain project-related duties as assigned.
