Job summary

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
• At least five years of relevant experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Apply computational modeling to aid in patient-specific decision-making.
• Use 3D structural finite element methods and reduced-order CFD techniques.
• Work with cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, and nurses to obtain patient data for modeling.
• Coordinate, direct, and execute engineering activities to meet goals within time and budget.
• Translate clinical needs into detailed technical roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables.
• Identify starting points for new clinical engineering processes and scale workflows.
• Develop novel procedures and workflows to meet pre-surgical modeling needs and provide data-driven feedback.
• Organize and lead meetings with clinicians and engineers to foster collaboration.
