Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
  • Specialized knowledge in computational modeling tools for electromagnetic and thermal physics.
  • Significant experience developing codes/scripts for data analysis and workflow automation.
  • Familiarity with multiphysics problems using COMSOL or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with EMI/EMC evaluations desirable.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute experiments and simulations to assess electromagnetic and thermal hazards of medical devices and wearables.
  • Participate in medical device consulting, including evaluations of implant materials and tissue/device interactions.
  • Develop computational models of implantable devices and perform technical evaluations for clients and FDA-related work.
  • Publish at conferences and in peer-reviewed literature.
  • Assist in marketing the group's technical capabilities to clients and the scientific community.
  • Develop additional expertise through our consulting services.
