Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering or Industrial Design required.
• 4 years of professional research experience including proposal writing and customer engagement.
• Experience in R&D project planning, design for manufacture (DFM), CAD, and prototype fabrication is expected.
• Preferred: ISO 13485 medical product development experience and documented proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead medical device product research and development efforts within CDME.
• Interact with industry partners to scope projects and prepare statements of work.
• Manage the complete sales process with customers and support staff.
• Write technical reports and proposals for sponsoring agencies and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering tasks.
