Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science.
• 15+ years of engineering/R&D experience or equivalent.
• SolidWorks modeling with CSWP certification.
• Proficiency with mold flow analysis software.
• Experience with R&D development cycles and design reviews.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• GD&T experience per ASME standards and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and commercialize innovative medical devices and accessories, applying DFMA and participating in design reviews.
• Contribute as a core team member to generate concepts and develop them into detailed designs meeting inputs and stakeholder needs.
• Document designs with consideration for patents and trade secrets, collaborating with IP teams as appropriate.
• Maintain expertise in CAD, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing methods; pursue relevant certifications.
• Deliver design packages with specifications, models, materials, analyses, and rationales.
