UL Solutions is seeking a senior Compliance Engineer for a hybrid role with 3 onsite days in Brea, CA; Northbrook, IL; or Minneapolis, MN. You will represent UL on standards committees, develop test programs, and lead client collaborations.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of Compliance Engineering experience as Evaluator/Reviewer for IEC 60601-1 and related standards.
• Experience with IEC 60601-1-6, IEC 60601-1-8, IEC 60601-1-11 and multiple ISO/IEC variants.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Proven ability to be innovative and work within a team.
• Comfortable in laboratory environments performing hands-on engineering.

Aufgaben

• Represent UL on harmonized standards development committees.
• Deliver technical training content to customers or at public events.
• Independently determine project scope and plan investigations, including cost, time, and samples.
• Negotiate and discuss project details and requirements with clients, including timelines and tests.
• Establish test programs by reviewing files and applying UL requirements; examine samples for compliance.
• Coordinate laboratory activities and supervise technicians; prepare reports and status updates.
• Provide technical assistance to clients on UL procedures and follow-up services.
• Support sales with presentations and assist in developing UL requirements.
