Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Engineering work or internship experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Determines project scope, develops a preliminary plan of investigation, and determines project specifications by analyzing client input and data.
• Coordinates laboratory activities by preparing data sheets, scheduling, and reviewing work of technicians.
• Communicates with clients to discuss technical issues, costs, and project timelines.
• Addresses client concerns and resolves issues related to project scope or specifications.
• Assists in developing UL requirements and special test methods/equipment.
• Represents UL at industry events when assigned and prepares project status reports.
• Performs other duties as directed.
