Job summary

The Alfred E Mann Foundation for Scientific R is seeking a Senior Medical Device Assembler to support the assembly, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and documentation of implantable and other medical device components in a regulated laboratory and cleanroom environment.

This hands-on role requires experience in precision manufacturing, including soldering, inspection under microscopes, and reading technical drawings. The position is full-time onsite in Valencia, California.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 7+ years precision manufacturing experience, preferably in medical devices or regulated industry.
• Expert-level soldering and precise assembly experience; microscope inspection required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex soldering, assembly, rework, welding, bonding, and inspection.
• Build prototype, development, verification, and production devices.
• Operate testing equipment and inspect electrical, mechanical, and visual specs.
• Read drawings, schematics, and work instructions; document DHRs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to improve manufacturability.
