Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a Medical Device Assembly & Test Technician in Irvine, CA. This on-site role involves assembling device components, testing, and basic calibration to ensure compliance with GMP standards.

You will work 10-hour shifts Mon–Thu and support production with maintenance and clean-up tasks. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ months of related experience, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • 3+ months of experience in a directly related manufacturing/assembly field.
  • Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications in English; basic math skills.
  • Attendance: commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble medical device components on various production lines (e.g., filling, assembly, packaging operations).
  • Build product to production schedules using hand tools and small power tools.
  • Perform inspections, tests, and basic calibration to meet tolerances and product specifications.
  • Follow GMPs and applicable manufacturing procedures to ensure quality standards.
  • Support production area organization and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Assist with basic equipment maintenance and support engineering/R&D builds as assigned.
  • Perform cleaning activities in production/packaging areas per established schedules.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Medical Device Assembly & Test Technician

Location: Irvine, CA 92618 – 100% on-site

Payrate: $22.00/hr

Full-time hours (40+ per week)

Contract type: This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

Required Availability: Full-Time | Mon–Thu 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (10-hour shifts)

Medical Device Assembly & Test Technician | Summary and Highlights

The Medical Device Assembly & Test Technician supports the manufacture and assembly of medical devices, including building components to schedule using hand tools and small power tools. This role also performs inspections, testing, and basic calibration activities to ensure products meet specifications while following GMP and quality procedures in a regulated environment.
