• Oversee development, implementation and integrity of initial credentialing and reappointment activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Medical Staff Bylaws, Policies and Procedures.
• Lead and develop the credentialing team; provide coaching and performance management.
• Coordinate with legal counsel, Medical Staff Leadership and committees to facilitate amendments as needed.
• Monitor departmental budget and reporting; maximize use of credentialing database workflow system.
